Iwan WALTERS (Greenvale) (13:10): Congratulations to Dalal Sleiman and Australian Chaldean Family Welfare for hosting yet another spectacular community celebration this weekend, which I was delighted to attend alongside Hume city councillor Joseph Haweil. ACFW works tirelessly on behalf of Assyrian Chaldean Australians, and Saturday’s celebration brought together many hundreds from across the north, as well as many different cultural traditions, for a joyful and belated celebration of Father’s Day and the Assyrian–Chaldean New Year.
